When you’ve decided to take a vacation to Walt Disney World, the potential smacks you in the face because there is literally so many things to do! My favorite part of a trip is always the food, so here’s a fun way to start thinking about where you could dine.

In no particular order and with no regard to pricing, these are just my favorite options that could help lead you to a great dining decision. Please note that dining is incredibly subjective, as everyone has a different pallet, dietary restrictions, budget, reservation or dining time…basically, it’s all up in the air:)

Here are my Best Restaurants at Disney World

Victoria & Alberts

I’ve never had a better meal in my life prior to dining at Victoria & Alberts at the Grand Floridian Resort.

Because each menu is customized to the individual, it’s not worth sharing what my meal was like or what my partner’s included…because y’all won’t be experiencing it due to the seasonality of the ingredients. Instead, I’ll just say this: Bucket List!

Three different dining options, which include a chef’s table, Queen Victoria Room (4 tables of two) and the regular dining room…you’re definitely in the right spot for a celebration, birthday or just an amazing memory that you’ll bring up in day-to-day life for the rest of your days.

Cost: Expensive/Signature Dining

Location: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Satuli Canteen

This quick service location at Pandora: The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a spot that we actually visit multiple times in a single vacation. From the repeatability of the dishes to the expansive dining room and self-serve drink station…it’s a spot that you should definitely check out!

Bonus: There’s no reservations required AND they accept Mobile Ordering, so you’re able to place your order prior to walking into the restaurant and not have to stand in the regular line.

Suggestion: Between the Bowls and the Bao Buns, you’re set!

Cost: $15-20 per entree / Quick Service

Location: Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Be Our Guest

Have you ever dreamed about dining on a movie set? What about an iconic location from one of the best Disney animated movies in history, Beauty and the Beast? Well with Be Our Guest, you’re able to have breakfast/lunch/dinner in one of three memorable rooms with classic french-inspired (and American-styled) cuisine just steps from Cinderella’s Castle in New Fantasyland.

We’ve done both the lunch and the dinner, so really it depends on what reservation you’re able to secure. This is an “Advanced Dining Reservation” that is incredibly difficult to get, but as long as you’re booking 180 days out…you should be able to get your choice. The closer you wait until your vacation, the more luck is involved…but I’ve been fairly lucky to get booking slots the day before. Just know that you won’t be able to walk-up and get a table.

Suggestion: Big fan of the French Dip Sandwich for Lunch, with the Master’s Cupcake (of course!)

Cost: Dinner is a fixed-price menu, so a little more structured and is classified as a Table Service meal. The lunch and breakfast are both classified as Quick Service, so you’re able to experience the restaurant without going too far over budget.

Location: Magic Kingdom

Absolutely love the feel of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, so any chance that we get to head over there is a treat. When we stumbled upon Boma during a trip with the Disney Dining Plan, we were pleasantly surprised on the quality and style of this buffet offering.

Not your typical American-Style lineup, this brings entrees to a whole new level with spices and stylistic cooking techniques that will make you never want to leave! This is also one of our top Vegetarian restaurants on property, if that’s of interest;)

Suggestion: Ask for a walk-through with the chef, as the culinary staff have their game on point!

Cost: Buffet’s at Disney are fairly standard, but with this being a non-character enhanced meal, you’ll be paying a little less than most other all-you-care-to-enjoy locations.

Location: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

I hope that this was helpful in your decision to vacation at Walt Disney World AND where to start with your dining decisions. There’s so much more to go into with this vacation destination, so stay tuned to!
