Having lived in Toronto for more than 10 years, there are many things that I’ve done…but still a ton of items that will happen soon enough.
Here’s my Dream Toronto Bucket List
The EdgeWalk at the CN Tower
I’ve seen the videos and videos on Instagram. I walk past the CN Tower daily, so the idea of experiencing something as unique as walking on the outside is mindblowing!
Why hasn’t it happened yet? I’m scared of heights…and the cost.
Alo
If you follow me over at StepstoMagic.com, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of Victoria & Alberts. This 5 diamond restaurant at the Grand Floridian is a 7-10 course meal with all the real Disney magic that has actually made us go back twice in a matter of 6 months.
I want that experience up here in Toronto, and I’m convinced that the culinary experts at Alo and Aloette are the ones to do it.
Tour of my Favorite Buildings
As a former tour guide and owner of a walking tour company in Toronto, I spent the better part of 5 years walking around the downtown core. It’s impossible to name my top 5 buildings, but I would love to do an interior tour of my FAVOURITE buildings.
- Flatiron (Gooderham Building)
- Roy Thompson Hall
- Canada Life
- MuchMusic (Bell Media)
- Scotiabank Arena
Honorable Mentions
- Fairmont Royal York (specifically the rooftop beehives)
- Anything TTC Behind the Scenes
Hotels
Because we’re locals, our staycation budget is usually focused on experiences and food. This means that the only interaction with hotels are the restaurants or the washrooms lol! We’d love to start staying at the iconic Toronto hotels in the near future!
This list will definitely be updated! It’s so much fun to think about all the things that should be on our bucket list in Toronto!
